A survey conducted by English research company GfK along with the Financial Times, one out of four smartphones retailed in Britain in the last four weeks ending on December 9th, was the iPhone 4S. As a matter of fact, the iPhone 4 deals, iPhone 4S & the 3GS version were present in the leading 15 handsets in terms of sales in the last four weeks, as calculated by GfK.
Behind the iPhone 4S was the famous Samsung Galaxy S2. Surprisingly, three variants of the BlackBerry Curve appeared in the list. The newest RIM flagship handset, the BlackBerry Bold 9900 witnessed improved sales; however it was unable to make into the list. The Nokia Lumia showed poor sales throughout the 4 week duration, similar to the firm's range of feature phones. However, it is early for making any conclusion about Nokia's Windows Phone smartphones.
